"News media". There should be another name, maybe I can think of one. You take spoon-fed content and publish it, these days it's as simple as clicking a mouse to paste a piece of a press release. Case in point - since we're on the subject - the "news" of Arkansas Continued Care Hospital being closed and replaced by a company called Methodist Family Health. So far there are about ten articles in the so-called news sites - mostly the northeast Arkansas news - with the same content. What do you know about either one? What do you care? You're just doing your job, getting the paycheck. Do you have any curiosity about this stuff? Nevermind, I'll address that elsewhere - the point is you people are no more journalists or even reporters than my cat. You are no more journalists than a bimbo reading the weather news on television is a meterorologist - they may and usually do have degrees in meteorology, just as most of you clowns have degrees in journalism or something related. There is a literal as in the literal meaning of literal idiot sitting as a justice on the Supreme Court even as I write this. You should be ashamed but you people are as incapable of shame as lawyers.

Nevertheless there may be someone out there who is in the news business and perhaps would like to perpetrate an act of journalism. You could read the content here and if you have an IQ above room temperature realize that bad things are happening here in northeast Arkansas. Not the whole wide world, not even the U.S.A., just here in our little corner of Arkansas. Of course if you are reasonably intelligent and have a shred of conscience you might want to do something about it. Or not - acting requires courage but courage is an essential component of integrity.

If you want to be a good tool and do your job and try to climb the ladder you will just do what your colleagues to, just do it better enough to get the promotion or the new job that pays more. That's the way ninety or so percent of the population does it and it pays off for a few who are sufficiently aggressive and unprincipled.

The few, that's the problem. Being one of the few. Once in a while someone in your business makes the big score another way. The big one, national news. The talk shows, a book, a movie. Money. And fame but mainly money because that's what it's all about, isn't it?

If you're one of those this could be your big break. I'll talk to you, not because I like you or respect you - I might but don't really care one way or another. I'll presume that you have a similar attitude and it won't bother me to use you as you use me. If you want to bust the big one wide open ride it as far as it will take you what have you got to lose by looking into it? This could be the big one.
